DIY Vinyl Mosaics
To create a mosaic out of vinyl records is pretty easy. Keep in mind that not all vinyl records are the same. Some are more rubbery than others and are softer when you try to break. Some are very brittle and stamp into very pointy shards. I actually prefer these. They are quicker to break apart while the softer ones need to be snipped.
First thing I did was break a couple of records. I had a ton of old 45s (that were really more of a pain to break apart than a LP).
Pre-painted in black a bold image. This way if the vinyl didn't cover it all the image would still be easy to see.
Then using e600 or clear silicone glue your vinyl.
Then .. TADA!
